I like the Doctor very much, however 800 pesos for the visit is too high. On this visit, I was sent a fes doors to get xray for another 350 pesos. I did not have cash and asked for the Doctor to include with his fees and pay them, which he did. The report came electronically quickly. I likely had walking pnuemonia, given nebulizer treatment in office and given prescription. Thing is, one item has not been available in MX for 6 months & searching for it while sick without transportation is bad enough, but doing so when entire country did not have it was disheartening. It was not Doctors's fault but I feel one should know what's not available. Next time I will ask his assistant to call pharmacies before leaving. Speaking about assistant, his medical assistant is a man and he is not friendly. I speak Spanish so the three times I have been there, I assesed him as mostly competant but without good bed-side manners. I wish he had a female medical assistant for us females. I really appreciate Dr. sells good clean products such as Protocol For Life Balance as I needed zinc GLYCINATE, etc. Will I return? Yes, even though I am my own physician using holistic methods, and only see doctors when I have an infection. I trust Dr. Hernandez but the office visit cost makes him not my 1st choice. If you have the money, please make him your Doctor here in Chapala.

. He is an excellent doctor with excellent diagnostic skills. He starts treatment with reasonable, not expensive treatments first. With his training and staff the service is superior. Twice he saved my life and I appreciate his care and dedication to his patients
