I’ve seen Dr. Maciel several time over the last 18 months. Last week he performed a decompression microsurgery L3/4 to open up the nerve going to my leg. I am extremely happy with the results, no pain and already see some improvement. I was able to walk the evening of surgery. I have multi-auto-immune disease and have a “Team” of Doctors at Ossis Medical Center, Dr. Maciel worked with my doctors to make sure it was safe for me to have the surgery. The Doctors and the Ossis Hospital are top notch. As an Expat living in PDC for 25+ years its very nice to be able to speak ENGLISH to the doctors there. I highly recommend Dr. Maciel, you would be hard pressed to find a doctor with his resume in North America. I would suggest anyone looking for destination medical surgery to contact him, there’s a big cost savings + the hospital rooms are private, with some very nice amenities and since the hospital is only for scheduled surgeries you have a Private Nurse and Doctor at all times.
