About the Doctor

I trained as a physician at UNAM, and later completed my specialty studies in general surgery and colorectal surgery at the Instituto Nacional de Ciencias Medicas y Nutricion. During my training I held the position of chief resident of General Surgery. I later completed the specialty of coloproctology again in Canada, at one of the most important hospitals, Mount Sinai Hospital. During that period I gained great experience in managing the various diseases of the specialty and even more so in inflammatory bowel disease. I am a physician committed to the patient, attentive to their progress, offering the most innovative and least invasive studies and treatments, since not all conditions require surgical treatment. On the other hand, I like to always stay up to date for your benefit as patients, so I have participated in several international and national congresses as a professor, and I have written chapters in books and journals in the specialty. I AM LOCATED IN THE GASTROENTEROLOGY CLINIC, ON THE FIRST FLOOR OF THE HOSPITALIZATION TOWER. Here is my professional experience Clinical activity.
