About the Doctor

Hello! I am Dr. María Luisa Montes de Oca Loyola, a dermatologist certified by the Consejo Mexicano de Dermatología, with an advanced specialty in Dermato-Oncology and Dermatologic Surgery. I trained as a physician at the Facultad de Medicina of the Universidad de Guanajuato. I then completed two years of Internal Medicine at Centro Médico ABC, three years of Dermatology at the Hospital General de México, and an advanced specialty in Dermato-Oncology and Dermatologic Surgery at the Centro Dermatológico Dr. Ladislao de la Pascua. I supplemented my training with a diploma in Trichology (hair diseases) from the Colegio Iberoamericano de Dermatología. I have experience in the comprehensive diagnosis and treatment of diseases of the skin, hair, and nails. I continue to stay up to date, participating in courses, diplomas, and congresses. I like to build a close, trusting relationship with my patients, in which they feel heard, understood, and free to resolve all their questions, based on ethics and professionalism.
