About the Doctor

My calling to be a doctor was born when I was 6 years old in my hometown of Lazaro Cardenas, Chihuahua, when my father became seriously ill and I was able to see firsthand his whole recovery through the doctors' visits; that's when I knew my path: I love seeing my patients recover their health. I did my studies as a Medico Cirujano y Partero at the Facultad de Medicina of the Universidad Autonoma de Chihuahua, and I successfully completed my specialty in Urology at IMSS - Unidad Medica de Alta Especialidad No. 25 in Monterrey, Nuevo Leon. I currently have 28 years of experience caring for the health of the people of Chihuahua and Mexicans in the state of Chihuahua through IMSS, 23 years at ISSSTE, and 15 years at Pensiones Civiles del Estado. I have had the great opportunity to witness unique cases in Urology and, thank God, I have had success. To ensure I am a safe option for the people of Chihuahua, I have extensive experience in Endourology, as well as a Subspecialty in Pediatric Urology, which I completed at Hospital General de Zona 33. For more than 20 years I have specialized in: Lithiasis (stones) in the kidneys/ureter/bladder, Prostatic Hyperplasia (enlargement/inflammation of the prostate), Urinary Tract Infection, Cancer of the Prostate/Kidney/Bladder/Testicle/Penis, Urinary Incontinence, Enuresis (bedwetting in children), STDs (sexually transmitted diseases), Infertility, Premature Ejaculation, Erectile Dysfunction, Phimosis (difficulty retracting the foreskin). Human warmth is always present in my practice; I am always interested in remaining committed to any situation of my patients and their family, regardless of how the clinical case goes or turns out.
