About the Doctor

I am an oncological neurosurgeon, a graduate of the Centro Médico Nacional Siglo XXI, with postgraduate studies at Weill Cornell University in New York, the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center, the Cleveland Clinic in Cleveland, the Wexner Medical Center at Ohio State University, Saint Louis University, and the Arkansas Neuroscience Institute, among others. I am a Titular Professor of the Advanced Specialty Course in Skull Base Surgery and Minimally Invasive Neurosurgery at the Facultad Mexicana de Medicina of Universidad La Salle and Hospital Ángeles Pedregal, Titular Professor of the Diplomas in Endoscopic Endonasal and Transcranial Microscopic Surgical Neuroanatomy at the Facultad Mexicana de Medicina of Universidad La Salle, and also Director of the Surgical Neuroanatomy Laboratory at the Facultad Mexicana de Medicina of Universidad La Salle. For more than a decade I have dedicated myself exclusively to the specialized treatment of patients with pituitary tumors, brain tumors and diseases of the skull base using advanced Minimally Invasive Neurosurgery techniques such as microsurgery, endoscopic neurosurgery, stereotactic surgery and radiosurgery. When a patient has surgery with me, I understand that their neurosurgery is one of the most important moments of their entire life, and it is my deep commitment to meet and exceed all their expectations so that the outcome is perfect and they can return perfectly well to their normal life. During surgery, what matters most to me above all else is the safety and well-being of my patients.
