About the Doctor

PhD in Health Psychology (2025) from the Universidad Autonoma de Coahuila. Interest in stress and cognitive effects in adults. My foundational training is in psychology, graduated from Universidad Blanquerna in Barcelona, with a Master's in Neuropsychology and Neurology of Behavior from the Universidad Autonoma de Barcelona (2012) and from the Universitat Oberta de Catalunya (2020). My professional career has focused on clinical practice as a Neuropsychologist with a focus on Cognitive Rehabilitation, promoting improvement and independence in daily life for people with neuropsychological damage at various centers in Barcelona. With an interest in clinical practice and older adults, in 2013 I moved to the city of Monterrey, Mexico, to develop and implement non-pharmacological treatments in older adults. For eight years I had a private practice and participated in several research centers to prevent the development of neurodegenerative diseases, as well as to understand the impact of medical treatments on cancer patients at Hospital San Jose and Hospital Zambrano Hellion. I have participated in various lines of research of the Grupo de Neuroingenieria y Neuroacustica of TEC de Monterrey. I have supported various nonprofit civil associations for epilepsy and Alzheimer's. In recent years I have had the opportunity to develop my teaching career at various universities such as Tecmilenio, Universidad Iberoamericana, and Tecnologico de Monterrey. I currently moved to the city of Cancun, Quintana Roo, to participate in a successful project for well-being and prevention, using the latest technology such as transcranial stimulation and photobiomodulation to improve cognition.
