He completed two years of internal medicine and later his postgraduate studies in Dermatology at the Centro Medico Nacional del Noreste of IMSS UMAE 25 in Monterrey, N.L., and an advanced specialty in Dermatologic Surgery at the Hospital Universitario "Dr. Jose Eleuterio Gonzalez" (UANL). Dr. Alberto Avila Lozano worked for one year at SkinGroup Monterrey and at Dermavanz Salud, and later at Centro Dermatologico Tennyson in Mexico City for 3 years. He has been a professor and speaker at national and international congresses, with talks including: botulinum toxin, filler material application, sclerotherapy, skin surgery, and psoriasis, among others. He has participated in publications of scientific articles and books in national and international journals.
