About the Doctor

Hi! I am Dr. Aldo Perez. I began my training at the Universidad Nacional Autonoma de Mexico, where I completed my degree as a Physician and Surgeon. Afterward, I completed my first specialty in Internal Medicine over 4 years at Hospital Juarez de Mexico, a period during which I trained in the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of the most common diseases affecting the general population such as: Diabetes Mellitus, Systemic Arterial Hypertension, metabolic syndrome, cholesterol/triglyceride disorders, kidney diseases, and many others. To complement my training, I completed a subspecialty in Cardiology at the Instituto Nacional de Cardiologia "Ignacio Chavez," which is currently considered one of the best cardiology hospitals not only in Mexico but in Latin America, a place where, over 3 years, I gained the knowledge and skills needed for the comprehensive management of heart diseases such as heart attacks, angina, heart failure, arrhythmias, and difficult-to-control arterial hypertension, among others. During my training I accumulated more than 10 years of experience interacting with patients with all kinds of diseases, giving me the ability to make diagnoses and provide effective treatments, as well as refer the patient to the appropriate subspecialty in case their condition falls outside my specialty. I am currently completing the high specialty course in Cardiac Intensive Care at the Instituto Nacional de Cardiologia, where I care for critically ill patients with heart disease and post-open-heart-surgery patients.
