I studied the Physician and Surgeon program at the Universidad Autonoma de Guadalajara, completed 1 year as an undergraduate Medical Intern at the Hospital General de Pabellon de Arteaga, and a year as a Social Service Physician in La Paz, BCS. My Geriatrics specialty residency was over 4 years at the Hospital General de Zona No. 16 in Torreon, Coahuila. During those years I did rotations at various hospitals such as the Centro Medico ABC, the Hospital de Oncologia of the Centro Medico Nacional S. XXI, and the Hospital Civil de Guadalajara Fray Antonio Alcalde, where I received academic training in different areas, such as Palliative Care, Infectious Diseases, Oncology, Psychiatry, and Psychogeriatrics. I have work experience in the field of pharmaceutical research.
