Surgical oncologist, I completed my degree in general medicine at the Facultad de Medicina of the Universidad Autónoma de San Luis Potosí; in 2002 I moved to Mexico City to complete the specialty in general surgery and the subspecialty in surgical oncology at the Centro Médico Nacional Siglo XXI. Since 2009 I have worked at the Hospital de Oncología of the Centro Médico Nacional Siglo XXI, centering my professional practice at that institution in the area of head, neck, and skin tumors. This has allowed me to gain extensive experience and knowledge of cancers in these areas. I hold certification from the International Federation of Head and Neck Oncologic Societies (IFHNOS).
