About the Doctor

Good day, patients, friends: I would like to introduce myself through this new promotional method as a Physician specialized in General Surgery, gastrointestinal Surgery, endoscopy, and non-surgical diseases of the digestive system. My training as a general practitioner was at the Facultad de Medicina of the Universidad Autonoma de Chihuahua, from 1988 to 1993; I did my undergraduate internship at Hospital Central Universitario and my social service in the community of Palomas General Trias. In 1996 I began my medical Residency for the specialty in General Surgery at Hospital General del Estado, in Hermosillo, Sonora, which I completed in the year 2000. My graduate studies are endorsed by the Universidad Nacional Autonoma de Mexico, and I hold current certification from the Consejo Mexicano de Cirugia General valid until the year 2022. In addition to this, I have worked since the year 2000 both at ISSSTE and at IMSS, having performed a great number of surgeries at these facilities; I have worked at Hospital Central Universitario for 3 years, Pensiones Civiles del Estado for 2 years, Pensiones Municipales for one year, and in private practice since April 2012 to date. I have served as a professor at the Universidad Autonoma de Chihuahua itself in the Facultades de Medicina y de Enfermeria, at the nursing school of Hospital Palmore, and as head instructor of the Surgery course at Hospital Morelos of IMSS.
