Certified by the Consejo Mexicano de Neurologia A.C. and the Consejo Mexicano de Medicina Interna A.C. I am a physician and surgeon (General), graduate of the Universidad Nacional Autonoma de Mexico; to earn my degree I completed a one-year internship at the Hospital 1 de Octubre of ISSSTE, and I completed postgraduate studies at the Universidad Autonoma del Estado de Mexico at ISSEMYM in the specialty of Internal Medicine, a field that addresses pathologies in each patient in a comprehensive way, both in diagnostic approach and in treatment, among them of course the most common ones such as Diabetes Mellitus and High Blood Pressure, but also other common ones such as endocrine disorders (hypothyroidism, Addison's Disease, Cushing's Disease, pheochromocytomas, etc.) or kidney disorders (acute and chronic kidney failure, nephropathies, etc.), cardiovascular disorders (acute or chronic heart failure, cardiac arrhythmias, murmurs, etc.), liver disorders (acute or chronic liver failure, esophageal varices, portal hypertension), and gastric disorders (erosive gastritis, H. pylori disease, colitis, reflux disease, esophagitis, etc.); and the ones I became most passionate about were Neurological disorders, so I also completed a subspecialty in Neurology at my alma mater, CMN 20 de Noviembre ISSSTE, where I learned to better evaluate patients suffering from Migraines or headaches, as well as demyelinating diseases such as Multiple Sclerosis or Neuromyelitis Optica, movement disorders such as Parkinson's disease, muscular dystonias, vascular conditions such as strokes, nerve and muscle disorders such as neuropathies, diabetic neuropathy, myopathies and radiculopathies, and all types of Epilepsy, to name a few examples; I completed an advanced specialty in Clinical Neurophysiology, through which I can complement diagnoses with physiological studies. All this in order to offer the best of myself to my patients.
