About the Doctor

"My priority is to provide humane, professional, and quality care for any condition of an allergic or immunological nature." I am originally from the state of Oaxaca, since childhood I have been passionate about biological sciences and philosophy. This passion led me to pursue an excellent education, studying medicine at the Escuela Medico Militar in Mexico City, at that school I learned discipline and love of medicine. At the end of my degree I completed my two-year undergraduate rotating internship at the Hospital Central Militar and I did my social service in Guamúchil Sinaloa at a military base where I provided medical care to Soldiers deployed at various operating bases and to their families. After 2 years I obtained a scholarship to pursue studies in the Specialty of Internal Medicine at the Hospital Central Militar in Mexico City, graduating as an internist and earning honorable mention on my professional exam, as well as the distinction of being Chief Resident in my area. After 1 year of service as Head of the Men's Medicine Ward at the Hospital Central Militar, due to my outstanding performance, the Secretary of National Defense at the time awarded me a scholarship to pursue the Subspecialty in Allergy and Clinical Immunology, completing my studies at one of the most important medical centers in the country, the Centro Medico Nacional Siglo XXI of IMSS under the mentorship of Dr Nora Hilda Segura. Upon completing my studies I had the opportunity to complete a training stay with Dr Monserrat, an expert in food allergy, at the Hospital Clínico de San Carlos in Madrid Spain. Within my training, clinical research has been a driving force in my medical practice and this interest led me to complete, in person, the Master's in clinical research from the Escuela Superior de Medicina of the IPN. I worked for 8 years at the Hospital Regional de Monterrey Nuevo Leon where we founded the clinical allergology service, and as Head of Teaching and Clinical Research I participated in training new physicians, of whom I am very proud to have instilled passion, discipline, and commitment to humanity It is important for me to point out that this medical training has led me to develop a true commitment to making my patients feel completely comfortable, cared for, and confident that their diagnosis as well as their treatment is properly handled with the seriousness it deserves, explaining and addressing the root cause of the problem
