Hello, I am Dr. Ismael Cardena Cortes, a specialist in Internal Medicine and Geriatrics, with 28 years of experience as an Internist and 26 years as a Geriatrician. Trained at Hospital Lic. Adolfo Lopez Mateos of ISSSTE, I have worked at IMSS for 21 years, and I have the experience of having held the first "Frail Elderly" consultation at this latter institution. I have participated as an examiner on the Consejo Mexicano de Geriatria, evaluating the knowledge and skills of new Geriatricians being certified. I wrote the chapter on "Frailty" in the book "Latino America Envejece." Currently a professor of "Geriatrics" at the Facultad de Medicina of UNAM. Professor of Gastroenterology at Universidad Anahuac. I put my experience as a geriatrician at the service of older adults.
