I am Dr Edgar Arellano. I am known for explaining thoroughly and kindly everything my patients want to know about gynecology, both normal aspects and possible diseases. Consultations last one hour, during which I patiently listen to the reason for consultation and each person's questions. I am a graduate of the Unidad Médica de Alta Especialidad 4 of the IMSS (Gineco 4), one of the most important hospitals for training in the specialty. I am certified by the Consejo Mexicano de Ginecología y Obstetricia, in addition to continuing medical education through courses and conferences. My training allows me to help my patients with the diagnosis and treatment of a wide range of gynecological and obstetric diseases (menstrual cycle disorders, HPV infection, pelvic pain, polycystic ovary syndrome, uterine fibroids, timely detection of cancer and precancer, vaginal infections, and many others), providing quality, up-to-date care. I also offer a comprehensive preventive medicine consultation, not just gynecology. For women and men ages 18 to 80. It is better than a traditional check-up, which is not personalized. It covers aspects such as hereditary cancer, diabetes, hypertension, high cholesterol, overweight and obesity, cardiovascular risk, hypothyroidism, low vitamin D, colon cancer, glaucoma, depression and anxiety, inappropriate alcohol and tobacco use, review and updating of vaccines, among others. During the consultation, the laboratory studies each patient needs are determined. Samples can be taken during the same visit.
