I am Dr. Eduardo Anaya, a graduate of the specialty of Trauma Surgery and Orthopedics from the Universidad Nacional Autonoma de Mexico, originally from the city of Aguascalientes. I had the good fortune to train as a specialist at the Unidad Medica de Alta Especialidad Dr. Victorio de la Fuente Narvaez (Magdalena de las Salinas) in Mexico City, a medical unit that carries an SNTSS-IMSS distinction for being the largest of its kind in the world, treating 3,821 people a day, both in consultation and in hospitalization, emergencies, high-complexity surgeries, etc. Throughout my educational process at this unit I managed to develop better judgment in diagnostic-therapeutic decision-making, surgical skills, and above all empathy with the patient; what I like most about being a traumatologist is seeing my patients' recovery process and how this branch of medicine can give them a better quality of life.
