I studied Medicine at the Universidad de Guadalajara; afterward I completed the specialty in Internal Medicine at the Hospital Civil de Guadalajara Fray Antonio Alcalde. Finally I completed the subspecialty in Rheumatology at the Instituto Nacional de Ciencias Medicas y Nutricion Salvador Zubiran. During my training I completed stays abroad, such as at the Reference Center for Rare Systemic and Autoimmune Diseases, Vasculitis and Scleroderma of the Hospital Cochin, in Paris, France. I was awarded the "ACR/PANLAR Visiting Fellows International Exchange Program," through which I had the opportunity to complete a clinical stay at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center, in Dallas, Texas. I have also attended various national and international Rheumatology congresses. I am author and co-author of various publications in national and international journals. I am currently an active member of the Colegio Mexicano de Reumatologia. I am certified by the Mexican Board of Internal Medicine and Rheumatology. I belong to "The EULAR/ACR IgG4-RD Classification Criteria Committee," a group of worldwide experts on IgG4-Related Disease. I remain at your service in Guadalajara and Mexico City for the diagnosis and treatment of metabolic, chronic-degenerative, rheumatological, and autoimmune diseases.
