About the Doctor

Dr. Torres Díaz completed his medical studies at the Universidad Autónoma de Veracruz Villa Rica in 2007, and later completed his Specialty in Orthopedics at Hospital Central Sur de Alta Especialidad de Petróleos Mexicanos in the period 2009-2013; he was certified by the Consejo Mexicano de Ortopedia and is a member of the Colegio Mexicano de Ortopedia. At the end of his medical specialty, he completed the high specialty course in Arthroscopy and Joint Reconstruction at Hospital Ángeles Pedregal, which was endorsed by Universidad La Salle, and he received his degree in 2014. During this period Dr. Torres stood out for his medical-surgical skills as well as his interest in medical research; his work was published in national medical journals, he participated with oral free papers, posters, and made multiple presentations at national and international conferences. Dr. Torres's clinical and surgical practice is mainly focused on the treatment of complex degenerative, sports-related, or traumatic injuries of the shoulder, hip, knee, and ankle. His practice includes both open and arthroscopic (minimally invasive) surgery in the areas mentioned.
