About the Doctor
I am a general practitioner specializing in diabetology and management of obesity and weight disorders, certified by Universidad Anahuac. I have additional training in clinical diabetology from Universidad Autonoma de Yucatan and an international SCOPE certification from the World Obesity Federation for treating obesity and its comorbidities. I am also an accredited diabetes educator through the Asociacion Mexicana de Diabetes and an active member of the Sociedad Mexicana de Obesidad. I work with adult patients with metabolic diseases and related disorders, including: Type 1 and type 2 diabetes, prediabetes, and insulin resistance, Obesity, metabolic syndrome, fatty liver, Hypertension, elevated cholesterol and triglycerides, Fatty liver, elevated uric acid, and early-stage chronic kidney disease. My goal is to provide comprehensive, personalized treatment, combining scientific evidence with a warm, empathetic approach. I focus on educating and empowering my patients so they can make informed decisions about their health.
