Graduate of Universidad La Salle with the degree of Physician and Surgeon, I completed the specialty in General Surgery at the Instituto Mexicano del Seguro Social, Hospital General Regional No. 6, Cd. Madero, Tamps., endorsed by the Universidad Autonoma de Tamaulipas. I completed a graduate program in High Specialty Gastrointestinal Endoscopy at the Hospital Central Sur de Alta Especialidad (HCSAE) PEMEX Picacho, Mexico City. Endorsed by the Universidad Nacional Autonoma de Mexico. I am a specialist in General Surgery, Laparoscopy, and Gastrointestinal Endoscopy, certified by the Consejo Mexicano de Cirugia General, member of the Asociacion Mexicana de Cirugia General, Associate Fellow Member of the American College of Surgeons, member of the European Association for Endoscopic Surgery, member of the American Society for Gastrointestinal Endoscopy. I am prepared to provide high-quality medical care for conditions requiring surgical treatment, with minimally invasive surgery (Laparoscopy), in addition to gastrointestinal diseases requiring medical treatment and/or endoscopic management or monitoring. I have training and experience performing endoscopic procedures such as Panendoscopy (Upper Endoscopy), colonoscopy, ERCP, capsule endoscopy, and therapeutic procedures such as: - Polyp resection at any level of the digestive tract - Biopsies of the esophagus, stomach, duodenum, colon, rectum. - Placement of stents in different segments of the digestive tract. - Endoscopic dilation of the esophagus, stomach, pylorus, duodenum, colon. - Control of gastrointestinal bleeding. - ERCP with stone extraction, stent placement, metal stent placement, Spyglass-guided targeted biopsies, Spyglass-guided lithotripsy. - ERCP with Spyglass and its various therapeutic uses. - Endoscopic Gastrostomy and removal/exchange of Gastrostomy tube. - Removal of foreign bodies. - Endoscopic management of fistulas.
