I am Dr. Enrique Pliego Esquivel, a certified surgeon in bariatric and metabolic surgery with more than 7 years of experience in the comprehensive treatment of obesity and associated diseases such as type 2 diabetes, hypertension, gastroesophageal reflux, and post-surgical complications. I am certified by the Consejo Mexicano de Cirugía de Obesidad (CMCGAC) and I am a member of the American Society for Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery (ASMBS) and the American College of Surgeons (FACS), being the only bariatric surgeon in Toluca and Cancún with this international distinction. My approach goes beyond surgery: I listen to, accompany, and guide each patient from the first contact to their recovery, with a real commitment to their well-being and safety.
