I am Dr. Erandy Jiménez, a pediatric oncologist. I am an empathetic person, nurturing, talkative, a perfectionist, meticulous, but most importantly I am the mom of an incredible child, and as you can imagine, that gave me a 360-degree turn, giving me a new perspective, a sensitivity, and greater empathy toward my patients and their families. I love spending time with my family, traveling is one of my favorite hobbies, I am very patient, very tolerant, and above all friendly. I like to build a close relationship with my patients and their families, to create a good working team, which I firmly believe is the foundation for successful treatment. My obligation as a pediatrician is not only to the patient, and as a pediatric oncologist I make sure not to focus only on the patient but on the family, the environment, and the situation they are facing, in order to guide and support them throughout their treatment.
