About the Doctor

Hello! I am Fanny Valerio, and I'm reaching out to you with great enthusiasm to introduce my nutritional counseling service specialized in chronic diseases, as well as eating disorders. I am a graduate of Universidad Iberoamericana, where I earned my Master's degree in Clinical Nutrition, and I am a Licensed Nutritionist from the Benemerita Universidad Autonoma de Aguascalientes. With more than 4 years of experience in the clinical field, I have had the opportunity to provide my services in general hospitals as well as in clinics specialized in Renal Replacement Therapy, specifically in the nutritional management of hemodialysis patients and in private practice. Throughout my career, I have also worked alongside an interdisciplinary team for better control and management of conditions such as different types of Diabetes (type 1 and type 2), Prediabetes, Insulin Resistance, Overweight and obesity, Thyroid disorders (hypothyroidism, hyperthyroidism, thyroid nodules), Dyslipidemias (elevated cholesterol and/or triglycerides), Polycystic Ovary Syndrome, Hypertension, Metabolic Syndrome, Cancer, Pregnancy, Liver cirrhosis, Metabolic (bariatric) surgery, Eating disorders (Bulimia, Anorexia, Binge Eating Disorder, etc.), Risk behaviors, among others. This collaborative approach allows me to offer comprehensive care, tailored to each patient's needs. My goal is that, through nutritional education, each patient can make smart, informed decisions about their diet and health. I work so that, over time, you can become independent, without needing ongoing follow-up, although I will always be available to answer any questions or provide additional support while we reach this goal and walk this path together. My office is located in an easily accessible spot, right in front of the Benito Juarez monument, on Av. Las Americas, across from the merendero San Pancho.
