About me My name is Francisco Rojas Quevedo, I am a cachanilla at heart, graduated from UABC, Mexicali campus, after which I completed 2 years of internal medicine at clinic 33 of the IMSS in Monterrey and finally completed 3 years of cardiology at the Centro Medico Nacional de Occidente in Guadalajara. Cardiology, unlike other areas of medicine, is very practical and offers treatments that truly bring a visible change in the patient's quality and life expectancy. Why choose me? Having worked, since my training, for so many years in the public sector where large numbers of patients are treated, in more than 10 hospitals across the 3 largest cities in the country (Guadalajara, Monterrey, and Mexico City), has allowed me to identify the ways in which a patient can be given a clear explanation of their condition and the reason for their treatment. Main treatment areas -Ischemic heart disease: Blocked arteries, involving heart attacks, near-heart-attacks, chest pain and/or shortness of breath. -Heart failure: Fatigue, shortness of breath, swelling of the legs. -Arrhythmias: Sensation of palpitations, rapid heartbeat, dizziness, or fainting. -Preoperative evaluations. My office and my team The Unidad Medica Madero is located on Madero street, half a block before reaching Justo Sierra; it has everything needed to provide quality care, with highly trained and experienced staff to handle practically any situation patients may require, whether medical or administrative. Other services Cardiology consultation, preoperative evaluations, transthoracic echocardiogram, dobutamine stress echocardiogram, exercise stress test, tilt table test, 24-hour Holter monitoring, ABPM (ambulatory blood pressure monitoring) placement, review of lab studies, performing and reviewing electrocardiograms.
