I began my academic training as a physician at the Universidad Autonoma de Ciudad Juarez, in the state of Chihuahua, and afterward I entered the Internal Medicine Specialty at the Hospital Universitario de Saltillo, endorsed by the Universidad de Coahuila, to go on to complete my studies as a Rheumatologist, at the Rheumatology Unit of the Hospital Ignacio Morones Prieto in the city of San Luis Potosi, where I had the opportunity to do a clinical rotation abroad. I practiced as an Internal Medicine Physician at the Hospital General Parral, Chihuahua, where I also held the position of Head of the Internal Medicine Department. During my years of specialty training I have participated as an attendee at continuing-education conferences in Rheumatology both in Mexico and abroad, as well as presenting research work at national conferences. I am currently practicing privately in Rheumatology and Internal Medicine.
