About the Doctor

I provide nutrition consultations combined with medicine, so I have extensive knowledge of nutritional treatments for different diseases. I also offer Nutritional Coaching, a strategy to increase the success achieved in consultation, especially for conditions such as diabetes, kidney failure, or situations such as changing eating habits and pregnancy. It is a technique in which you overcome the barriers that keep you from achieving change; you define and reach goals and maintain your successes. At the first consultation we take a clinical history and together build a strategy to start treatment. I use different approaches such as natural eating and supplements. Treatment length varies, from 2 consultations to a few months, depending on the patient's needs. I studied medicine at Universidad La Salle, a master's degree in clinical nutrition at Universidad Anáhuac del Norte, and a diploma in enteral and parenteral nutrition at Hospital Adolfo López Mateos of ISSSTE. I currently work at the Instituto Nacional de Perinatología in research, teach "Scientific Reading and Writing" in the medical program at Universidad Anáhuac, and see private patients.
