About the Doctor

With more than 25 years of experience in clinical practice and as a professor at the UNAM School of Medicine (in the subject: Interpretation of medical diagnosis, and the subject Geriatrics), I see adult and elderly patients, whether with diagnostic problems or complex problems. My practice is guided by favoring careful clinical study and considering laboratory and imaging studies, when necessary, as auxiliary means to confirm or clarify the condition, thus seeking better-quality and less costly care for the patient. I completed my studies in Mexico and France, and I have worked as an Internal Medicine specialist at the IMSS Hospital de Especialidades and at the National Institute of Neurology and Neurosurgery. I was president of the Mexican Board of Geriatrics and have published books on diagnostic interpretation
