Dr. Jorge Mendoza Torres, MD, is a fully Trained Neurosurgeon from the Universidad Autonoma de Guadalajara, After working several years for that institution as a professor of neurosurgery in the school of medicina (UAG) he move to Puerto Rico to complete a two year Fellowship Program at the University of Puerto Rico, on the Neuroendovascular Surgery Department. During that time he went to different countries like Africa, Portugal, Hawaii, among others to offer conferences about the aneurysms stenting and stroke project he was working with. Also completed a year Fellowship in Minimally Invasive Spine Surgery on the Neuroscience Department at the Beaumont Hospital in Michigan, USA. Beyond his experience as a neurosurgeon he is an excellent speaker, fully bilingual and patient oriented. Concerned about the need of health specialists in Puerto Vallarta, Dr. Mendoza Torres focus on the vision of making this city a high quality center of care for local, national and international citizens.
