I am Dr. Jorge Najera, a physician who graduated from the U.A.S.L.P., with a specialty in Anesthesiology from the Universidad de Guadalajara and a subspecialty in Algology (pain medicine) and Palliative Care from the Tec de Monterrey. I completed academic and research fellowships in the Pediatric Chronic Pain department at the Hopital de Montreal pour enfants and in Oncologic Supportive Care at the Md Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, Texas. I am currently the anesthesiologist in charge of acute pain at the Hospital Civil de Guadalajara "Dr. Juan I. Menchaca". I am the only Algologist with formal university training in interventional pain management in Jalisco and San Luis Potosi
