Hi! How's it going? I am Jose Marin. I was born in Mexico City, but I was raised and grew up in Nochistlan, a beautiful town in the state of Zacatecas. I studied a bachelor's degree in general medicine at the Benemerita Universidad Autonoma de Aguascalientes (U.A.A.). I later specialized in gastrointestinal general surgery at the Centenario Hospital Miguel Hidalgo de Aguascalientes, which allows me to provide my patients with traditional, minimally invasive, or laparoscopic medical and surgical treatment for the most common digestive system diseases, such as gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD), hiatal hernia, gallbladder and bile duct diseases, liver abscesses, abdominal wall hernia surgery, and other types of small intestine and colon surgery. I also have training in emergency surgery for conditions such as acute appendicitis, abdominal abscesses, perforated gastric or duodenal ulcers, as well as treating injuries from weapons or accidents; always with a deep sense of ethics and professionalism, offering cutting-edge treatment. I am currently pursuing a master's degree in science at the Benemerita Universidad Autonoma de Aguascalientes, with the goal of complementing the treatments implemented for each case with the best scientific evidence, for every father, mother, sibling, child, or any relative or friend who comes to me as a patient for evaluation.
