I am a general surgeon; a general surgeon is a physician specialized in performing hands-on instrumented interventions on the human body, with the purpose of correcting disorders that make the patient ill. I can treat non-surgical gastrointestinal conditions such as irritable bowel syndrome, gastroesophageal reflux, evaluation of diarrhea and constipation, colon diverticula, evaluation of chronic abdominal pain, and offer surgery when necessary. In addition, we treat surgical gastrointestinal conditions such as gallstone disease, anti-reflux surgery, abdominal hernia surgery, inguinal hernias, thyroid surgery, in-office resection of fatty "lumps" (lipomas) and warts with electrocautery. And additionally, as a PLUS, I offer MINI laparoscopic surgery, which offers less pain, faster recovery, lower frequency of hernias, and better cosmetic results. I am a physician who, above all, is committed to the well-being of my patients.
