About the Doctor

I have more than 30 years of experience seeing patients. I make it a practice to open a chart as a first step, for which I need approximately 40-45 minutes; I ask that the patient wear comfortable clothing and come accompanied by a family member who knows what illnesses relatives have had in the past and what the patient themselves has had, which is important for older adults and some children who don't know the family history; I don't see patients under 12 years old. Since medicine is a changing science, for the past 18 years I have taken annual courses and diploma programs, since currently, while not yet a legal requirement, physicians must take a certification exam and renew it every 5 years, for which we must accumulate 300 continuing education points each time. The diploma programs have been on current topics in general medicine, degenerative diseases, aging, urology, hypertension, diabetes, and the courses in dermatology, pharmacology, degenerative and infectious diseases.
