About the Doctor

I am a psychologist who helps maintain people's mental health, facilitating each person's well-being. For that purpose I use several means, the main one being psychotherapy and/or psychological counseling. This also involves accompanying and facilitating the process of finding solutions to a given problem, using various strategies and techniques for learning and awareness-building, through psychoeducation. It should be noted that Psychoeducation is one of the main functions of the psychologist, often needing to be addressed in behavioral, emotional, and psychological terms. In chronic degenerative diseases (diabetes, hypertension, obesity, overweight), as a psychologist I develop tools for the chronic patient, through their three dimensions: cognitive (thoughts), affective (emotions), and behavioral (conduct), to achieve adherence to their medical treatment and, as a result, their control goals.
