Dr. Mairim Sarduy Fernández de Castro

About the Doctor

Graduated as a Physician with honors from the Higher Institute of Medical Sciences of Havana, Cuba, Dr. Sarduy decided from an early stage in her training to dedicate herself to the study of brain function. To do so she specialized in Clinical Neurophysiology, which she studied at the Cuban Neuroscience Center for 4 years. Her specialty thesis was based on the study of children with Attention Disorder, whom she evaluated through different neurophysiological tests. Since 1998 she has lived in Mexico City, where she has worked for major laboratories as head of the Neurophysiology and Sleep Studies Area. Her passion for what she does and the professional performance that characterizes her contribute to her being part of a group of ethical specialists focused on the ongoing care of their patients' health.
