About the Doctor

Born in what is now CDMX and a Celaya native at heart, I completed my Bachelor's studies at the Escuela de Dietetica y Nutricion del ISSSTE. Right after graduating I worked for the Nutrition Service of the Instituto Nacional de Ciencias Medicas y Nutricion, Salvador Zubiran and the Instituto Nacional de Cancerologia. I completed two rotations in the Enteral and Parenteral Nutrition area of the Specialty and Oncology Hospitals of Centro Medico Nacional Siglo XXI. For a short period of time I worked in the pharmaceutical industry in the obesity area. The desire to keep training and my interest in research led me to pursue a Master's degree at the Centro de Investigacion en Alimentacion y Desarrollo (CIAD, A. C.) in the city of Hermosillo, Sonora. In 2014 I completed a Postgraduate Degree in Renal Nutrition endorsed by the Sociedad Argentina de Nutricion. Preparing yourself also means sharing, and for 5 years I was a professor at the Universidad Latina de Mexico. With all this, dedicating myself to clinical nutrition has been my professional passion for almost 20 years, and this is the result of the great satisfaction experienced from patients' progress in the face of illness, or the impact of prevention. So, all my effort is dedicated to the ethical and responsible professional care of the patient. I am continually taking courses or attending congresses to update my knowledge and treatments as part of my personal development, but above all for the well-being of my patients.
