Hello, I'm Maria Jose, I am a Licensed Nutritionist and Food Scientist from the Universidad Iberoamericana of Mexico City, and hold a Master's in Clinical Nutrition from the Escuela de Salud Pública de México - Instituto Nacional de Perinatología. I completed clinical internships at the following hospitals: Hospital del Niño Poblano (Puebla, 2014), Hospital Infantil de México Federico Gómez (CDMX, 2017), as well as at INPer, Instituto Nacional de Enfermedades Respiratorias (INER), Hospital General de México Dr. Eduardo Liceaga, Hospital General Dr. Manuel Gea González, CAiPADI, CIMER, and the Hospital de la Mujer CDMX. I had the opportunity to rotate through different specialties: pediatrics, high-risk pregnancy with comorbidities such as gestational diabetes and/or obesity; intensive care unit, diabetes education, nephrology, oncology, bariatrics, and neonatal intensive care unit. My approach as a nutritionist is to give you the tools you need to lead a healthy lifestyle, where you can enjoy and learn about the benefits of eating a balanced diet, and most importantly, one that fits your pace of life.
