I am Dr. Mauricio Heiras Arroyo, specialist in General Surgery and Laparoscopy, graduate of the Hospital Central del Estado de Chihuahua, with 4 years of experience in the field. I have extensive experience in minimally invasive surgery (laparoscopy), which offers great benefits in patient recovery as well as better esthetic results. My area of specialty is surgical diseases of the digestive tract and abdominal wall hernia surgery. The most common conditions treated in my practice are gastroesophageal reflux and hiatal hernia, gallbladder problems, diverticula of the large intestine, acute appendicitis, umbilical, ventral, and inguinal hernias, as well as thyroid and parathyroid gland conditions. As part of my general surgery training, I treat patients with clinical gastrointestinal conditions such as gastritis, pancreatitis, irritable bowel syndrome, constipation, and diarrhea. Treatment is also offered in-office for moles, warts, and lipomas with excellent esthetic results. The consultation consists of a brief interview, in order to gather the most relevant history of my patient with a comprehensive approach to the current condition, followed by a concise physical examination. Afterward, the most appropriate medical treatment is provided, or proper surgical planning is carried out. The office facilities are comfortable and pleasant, and parking is available.
