I received special training at the Instituto Nacional de Perinatologia "Isidro Espinoza de los Reyes" in Perinatal Genetics. I completed a Master's in Medical Sciences in the area of disorders of sexual differentiation. The area of Prenatal Genetics includes clinical evaluation, molecular analysis, and genetic counseling in cases where a congenital defect is detected or there is high suspicion of a genetic condition such as Down syndrome.
