About the Doctor

I am a licensed Nutritionist, graduate of the Universidad del Valle de México, with graduate studies in Social Gerontology from UNAM, and I hold a Master's in Nutrition and Dietetics from the Universidad Internacional Iberoamericana and a Master's in Clinical Nutrition from the Universidad del Valle de México. I have 10 years of experience in: - Weight control (weight loss and gain) - Healthy lifestyle management - Body composition analysis - Diabetes, Hypertension, Dyslipidemias, kidney disease, gastrointestinal, liver, cardiovascular disease, cancer, etc. - Physical activity and physical training. I have collaborated with institutions such as: -Hospital Ángeles del Pedregal, in the diet therapy area and later in the clinical nutrition department. - Instituto Nacional de Rehabilitación "Luis Guillermo Ibarra Ibarra" in the clinical nutrition area. - Centro Medico Nacional "20 de noviembre," in the nutrition division. Also, in recent years, my work has focused on caring for the most vulnerable groups (children, adolescents, older adults, and pregnant women) in CDMX, through participation in health fairs and health days, social rehabilitation centers, public clinics and hospitals. I have been invited by COFEPRIS (Mexico) as an expert consultant to define guidelines and criteria regarding formulas for Specialized Enteral Feeding, used for the treatment of various conditions. I constantly train in workshops, courses, and seminars on diabetes, hypertension, cancer, kidney disease, physical training, among other areas.
