Dr. Lorena Mireles is a Surgical Oncologist, part of the multidisciplinary team at Oncology Center, trained and graduated from the postgraduate program of the Centro Medico Nacional de Occidente IMSS in Guadalajara, Jalisco (Universidad de Guadalajara), Oncologist Certified by the Consejo Mexicano de Oncologia. Active member of the Quintana Roo chapter of the Sociedad Mexicana de Oncologia and of the Sociedad Mexicana de Oncologia. She holds a master's in health organization management. Rotation at FUCAM and Hospital Victorio de la Fuente Narvaez "Bone Tumors". She currently also works in the Surgical Oncology Area at the Hospital de Especialidades Regional General No. 17 IMSS. Enthusiastic about teaching, she is a lead professor in the general surgery area for undergraduate medical interns. As a professional, Dr. Mireles is passionate about her field of expertise, and her proactive nature drives her to constantly seek training and updates not only in the medical field, but also in other areas serving patients, in order to offer quality care, considering the particularities of each case and the needs of each patient thanks to her ability to pay attention to detail. She is an active collaborator in social assistance foundations because for her, empathy is a quality that must be present at all times in life. For her, teamwork is essential; she supports and is part of efficient, well-trained teams capable of reaching their maximum potential and offering patients the best possible care.
