About the Doctor
I am Dr. Abigail Gallegos. I graduated as a General Physician from the Universidad Autonoma de Guadalajara, where I did rotations within the state of Jalisco; I also did my internship at the Hospital Regional de Colima, and my social service in the town of Cardona in the same state. I did my medical residency in Pediatrics at the Hospital General de Leon, where I did tertiary-level rotations at the Hospital Regional de Alta Especialidad del Bajio (rotation in Pediatric Hematology and Immunology and Allergies), as well as the Pediatric Endocrinology rotation at UMAE 48. I updated my training with PALS courses (Pediatric Advanced Life Support), valid from 2021 to 2023; I am a Breastfeeding Counselor, and I work the morning shift at HGZ2 of the IMSS. I am currently pursuing a diploma in Pediatric Clinical Nutrition endorsed by the Universidad de Guadalajara.
