About the Doctor
Hi! I am Priscilla Orantes Cortes, a pediatrician dedicated with passion to promoting the health care of your children and adolescents in a comprehensive and empathetic way. I am a graduate of the Universidad Popular Autonoma del Estado de Puebla. I completed the specialty in Pediatrics at Hospital Infantil Privado Star Medica in Mexico City, endorsed by UNAM. An interesting fact about me is that I love going out to exercise with my dog Lilo, and I am also a children's book illustrator in the making. My main areas of interest are maintaining children's health through disease prevention, breastfeeding (I am currently a lactation consultant), and Neurodevelopment, with publications on this last topic. I have extensive experience in outpatient consultations and within emergency services (PALS Certification) for patients from newborns up to 18 years old; in addition to working with births, including respected vaginal delivery or c-section (RENEO Certification). My goal is to team up with you to maintain your son's/daughter's health based on knowledge and trust.
