I completed my specialty in Internal Medicine and later the subspecialty in Medical Oncology at the Instituto Nacional de Cancerología (INCan), where I was Chief Resident. I also completed an Advanced Specialty in Breast Cancer, endorsed by UNAM. I am certified and recertified by the Consejo Mexicano de Oncología, and I am an active member of ASCO, ESMO, SMeO, and CMOM. I specialize in the comprehensive, multidisciplinary management of cancer, with a particular focus on breast cancer. I provide personalized treatments such as: Chemotherapy-free therapies in selected patients (based on genomic signatures), De-escalation therapies (shorter duration, same efficacy), Post-neoadjuvant treatment in high-risk patients, Management of breast cancer in young women or during pregnancy. What sets me apart from other medical oncologists in Chihuahua? I am the first medical oncologist with an Advanced Specialty in Breast Cancer in the state. I have national and international experience in functional units, where cancer treatment is coordinated across multiple specialties. I have served as a professor and speaker at national and international conferences, as well as in clinical research and scientific publications.
