About the Doctor

Dr. Rodolfo Camilo Salazar Torres graduated from the Escuela Médico Militar in 2000, subsequently continuing his postgraduate studies at the Hospital Central Militar from 2000 to 2002, completing his residency in the specialty of Comprehensive Medicine and Emergency Medicine. He continued his professional training in Pediatrics from 2004 to 2007 at the Hospital Central Militar. Upon completion, he continued his education as a Neonatologist at the Instituto Nacional de Perinatologia from 2007 to 2009. In 2011 he entered the Instituto Nacional de Perinatologia again to complete the Advanced Specialty Course in Neonatal Intensive Care. Professionally, he was assigned to the Neonatology Service of the Hospital Militar de Especialidades de la Mujer y Neonatologia from 2007 to 2018, serving as head of the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit until 2018. Since 2009 he has also complemented his hospital practice with private practice at the Centro Médico Abc, Hospital Angeles Lomas and Hospital Español, having his medical offices at the Centro Médico ABC campus observatorio and Hospital Ángeles Lomas. Since 2005 he began teaching at his Alma Mater, the Escuela Médico Militar, with undergraduate students in the subjects of Pediatrics and Evidence-Based Medicine. He continued teaching various subjects for postgraduate students of the Pediatrics Residency at the Escuela Militar de Graduados de Sanidad Militar until 2018.
