The most important thing to me is the patient as a human being, not as a specific disease, so the main focus of my consultation is human warmth and trust. As a urologist, I treat men and women of all ages with benign or malignant diseases of the urinary tract, including conditions of the adrenal gland, kidneys, ureters, bladder, urethra, and the male reproductive system. The most common conditions in the field of urology are urinary stones or calculi, cancer (kidney, bladder, prostate, testicle, etc.), prostate enlargement, urinary incontinence, urinary and sexually transmitted infections, and many more. Robotic surgery is one of the most recent technological innovations in medicine; urologists are pioneers in this field, however, due to the characteristics of our country, it is an area that is still under development, so there are very few specialists with the credentials and training to offer it. As part of my professional education I trained in Germany under one of the most renowned urologists in the world, Prof. Dr. Jens Rassweiler, and Hospital Angeles del Pedregal is one of the few Mexican centers with this tool for treating diseases such as prostate cancer more precisely.
