About the Doctor

Hello, I am a Humanistic Gestalt and Psychocorporal Psychotherapist. I am confident that self-knowledge and integration are where greater health and well-being are found. I am a graduate and certified in Gestalt Psychotherapy and Human Development from the Instituto de Mareotis, under the direction of T:G: Xabier Huadiquet Lamarque, and hold a master's in Humanistic Body Psychotherapy from the Instituto Humanista de Psicoterapia Corporal Integra, under the direction of Master Marilenca Bayley. I have completed studies in bodywork through massage techniques and "postural integration," which has become a very useful tool when it comes to resolving conflicts, easing tension, and mobilizing sensations. I also specialize in Couples and Family therapy, and Family Constellations. I occasionally use Guided Visualization, a method that helps with self-knowledge and understanding of the deepest and unconscious parts of the client. I have also had the opportunity to lead an addictions group under the concept of continuity; a therapeutic technique whose purpose is also the integration of the individual, even those parts that have been harmed. I have done personal therapeutic work for much of my life. Through this I have learned to listen to my emotions, live them, express them, and integrate them; to see others differently, with more empathy and consideration. I learned, and continue to learn, to make myself respected and to respect differences with others. I have around 10 years using massage techniques. I have worked with high-performance sports teams giving massages to increase endurance and promote relaxation. I aspire to help people live life more fully. Right now I am a Lead Professor in the master's program in Body Psychotherapy at the institute that awarded me my degree.
