I am a physician who graduated from the UABC School of Medicine, Mexicali campus, where I studied for 5 years; I then completed my undergraduate internship for 1 year at Hospital General de Zona 30 of the IMSS and 1 year of social service at the Instituto Nacional de Nutricion y Ciencias Medicas Salvador Zubiran in Mexico City. I then completed 1 year of internal medicine in Mexico City at the Siglo XXI branch, from which I moved into the subspecialty of Dermatology, which I completed at the Centro Dermatologico Dr. Ladislao de la Pascua over 3 years. I then completed an advanced specialty in surgical dermatology, dermato-oncology, and Mohs micrographic surgery for a year at Hospital Juarez. During that year I completed a rotation in the United States with Dr. Carlos Garcia at the Southwestern Dermatology clinic, where I learned new techniques for dermatologic surgery. I am also certified by the Consejo Mexicano de Dermatologia.
