About the Doctor

I am a graduate of the Facultad de Estudios Superiores Iztacala UNAM, Bachelor's in Psychology, Class of 1992-1996. I studied the Master's in Education for Peace at Universidad Albert Einstein, 2005-2007. I have more than 26 years promoting mental health through teaching, training, research, clinical consulting, and the development of comprehensive health projects where prevention is proposed as the first protective level for healthy and resilient people. I have given more than 1,000 conferences, workshops, and courses on mental health, prevention of psychosocial illnesses, functional families, protective factors in the personality of children and youth, addiction prevention, depression, anxiety, suicidal ideation, education and culture for peace, among others. I am a facilitator of human development and trainer in organizational development for more than 20 years. I am a specialist in the management of depression, anxiety, suicidal ideation, losses and grief, infidelity, addictions, and toxic relationships or emotional dependencies. In addition to being a psychologist (the science that studies human behavior), I am a thanatologist (I facilitate the acceptance of emotional losses, from the death of a loved one to any circumstance that generates pain and suffering), logotherapist (I help recover people's sense of meaning in life), suicidologist (I facilitate the understanding of suicidal ideation and promote the acceptance of life with purpose), laughter therapist (I promote education in joy and laughter as a source of well-being), and coach in conscious happiness (I accompany people in building a lifestyle based on mental, emotional, physical, and spiritual habits that fill them with satisfaction and admiration for their life).
