Pulmonary Valve Agenesis

Absence of the pulmonary valve is a congenital heart malformation in which the pulmonary valve, responsible for regulating the flow of blood to the lungs, does not develop normally or is absent. It is usually detected in the prenatal stage or in the first months of life.
